PilotListening (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides audio-based study tools designed to support student pilots and aviation learners. Please read this Legal Notice carefully before using any PilotListening content, including audio lessons, training materials, guides, or information provided through our website or services (“the Service”).
By using PilotListening, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Not Official FAA Material

PilotListening is not an official source of FAA regulations, procedures, or training.
Our audio guides are supplemental study tools and are not a substitute for:

  • FAA regulations (14 CFR)

  • FAA Handbooks (AFH, PHAK, AIM, etc.)

  • Airman Certification Standards (ACS)

  • Pilot/Controller Glossary (P/CG)

  • Aircraft Pilot Operating Handbooks (POH) or AFM

  • Manufacturer’s supplements, checklists, or operating procedures

  • Flight instructor instruction, endorsements, or required training

Always rely on official FAA publications and your aircraft’s official documentation as your primary, authoritative sources of information.

2. Not a Replacement for Flight Training

PilotListening does not provide flight instruction, endorsements, or official training required for pilot certification.
Only a certified flight instructor (CFI) can provide:

  • Required training

  • Logbook endorsements

  • Official checkride sign-offs

  • Airspace / procedure authorizations

PilotListening should be used in addition to, not instead of, flight instruction from a qualified CFI.

3. No Guarantee of Exam or Flight Success

While our content is designed to support learning, we do not guarantee:

  • Passing the FAA Written Exam

  • Passing any oral or practical test

  • Meeting any certification requirements

  • Mastery of aircraft systems, procedures, or performance

  • Radio communication proficiency

Your success depends on official study, instruction, and FAA standards.

4. POH Audio Is Informational Only

Any aircraft-specific POH audio guides are generalized summaries created for study convenience.
They are NOT replacements for:

  • The official POH / AFM

  • Manufacturer limitations or procedures

  • Required checklists

  • Emergency or abnormal procedures

  • Aircraft-specific supplements

Always follow your aircraft’s official POH and your instructor’s guidance.
Never rely solely on audio materials for operational decision-making.

5. Radio Communication Practice Disclaimer

ATC practice materials are recorded for educational purposes only.
PilotListening is not affiliated with:

  • FAA Air Traffic Control

  • Any ATC facility

  • Any flight school or training organization

Real-world communication may differ from examples presented in the Service.

6. No Operational Use

Do not use PilotListening materials for real-time flight operations.
Our content must never be used as:

  • In-flight checklists

  • Emergency procedures

  • Navigational guidance

  • Operational decision-making tools

  • Technical references

Consult official FAA and aircraft documentation for all flight-related decisions.

7. Accuracy Not Guaranteed

We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but aviation information changes over time.
PilotListening does not guarantee that all material is:

  • Current

  • Error-free

  • Complete

  • Aligned with the latest FAA changes

Users are responsible for verifying information with official FAA sources.

8. No Professional Advice

Nothing in PilotListening should be considered:

  • Legal advice

  • Professional aviation instruction

  • Regulatory interpretation

  • Aeronautical decision-making guidance

Always seek proper instruction or legal guidance where required.

9. Limitation of Liability

By using PilotListening, you agree that we are not liable for:

  • Any damages, losses, or injuries

  • Misinterpretations of training material

  • Errors in audio guides or content

  • Decisions made using information from the Service

  • Actions taken in flight or during training

Your use of PilotListening is entirely at your own risk.

10. Lifetime Access Definition

By purchasing a Lifetime Access plan from PilotListening, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • “Lifetime access” refers to access for the duration of the PilotListening platform

  • Access is provided as long as the service remains operational

  • PilotListening may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any portion of its content at any time

  • No guarantee is made regarding the continued availability of the Service, specific features, or content

  • Lifetime access does not imply perpetual availability beyond the operation of the platform

In the event that PilotListening ceases operations, access to the Service will terminate without obligation for refunds or compensation.

11. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our content and immediate access upon purchase, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once access has been granted, except where required by applicable law.
